Hull and East Riding residents are encouraged to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming Easter bank holidays and reminded which NHS services will be available.
Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) and out of hours GP services across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire will remain open. However, GP practices and most pharmacies will be closed on Good Friday (15 April) and Easter Monday (18 April).
Make sure you are prepared for the bank holiday, check your medicine supply and order any required repeat prescriptions in good time.

If you need to access GP services on the bank holidays, out of hours appointments are available by contacting your GP if you live in Hull. In East Riding of Yorkshire contact The Improving Access Service on 01482 458262, open Friday 6.30-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.30am-12.30pm.
For urgent medical advice, please use the NHS 111 online service (http://111.nhs.uk). If you cannot get online, call 111 If you are in a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999.
The Mental Health Advice and Support Line for Hull and the East Riding will remain operational over the bank holiday weekend. Individuals over the age of 18, who require mental health support, can access the service by calling 0800 138 0990.
Some COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be available over the bank holiday weekend. It is not too late to have your first, second or booster dose. Find your nearest walk-in vaccination clinic at www.vaccinatehullandeastriding.co.uk.
