IKEA officially opened its doors in Hull yesterday, bringing the Swedish furniture brand to the city for the very first time.
Located at Kingston Retail Park next to Boots, the new store is a smaller-format outlet known as a Plan and Order Point. While you won’t find the full showroom experience like in Leeds or Sheffield, you can browse designs for kitchens, bedrooms and storage solutions with expert help – and order anything from the full IKEA range for next-day click and collect, or home delivery.
There are over 100 products available to purchase, plus a planning area, appliance studio and friendly design specialists ready to help bring your dream room to life.
The Hull team includes six design experts as part of a 13-person workforce, and IKEA says this store is all about offering affordable, stylish home solutions for every budget.
It’s open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 8pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
