A new competition site has launched in Hull, and it’s already putting smiles on faces across the city. Lucky Lizards is a local business run by two sisters, Nikki and Dee, who set out with one simple goal—to brighten people’s days with small wins and a bit of fun.
The site runs a mix of instant-win and weekly competitions, with ticket prices starting from just 2p. There’s a wide range of prizes up for grabs, and the live Facebook draws every Wednesday night bring a real buzz of excitement as winners are revealed in real time.
“We’ve already given away over £10,000 in prizes,” they told us, “and we’re just getting started.”
From cash giveaways—like a recent £500 win that cost the lucky entrant just pennies—to fun and useful prizes, Nikki and Dee love nothing more than delivering good news. “It’s the highlight of our week when we get to tell someone they’ve won.”
But it’s not just about prizes. Lucky Lizards is passionate about giving back and supporting the local community. They’ve already donated to Hull Foodbank and are keen to grow their charitable giving as the business expands. “The bigger we get, the bigger the prizes—and the bigger the donations.”
