To help people get around over winter, and to ease the pressures of funding travel, you can take a single journey on any East Yorkshire bus and not pay more than £2. If you currently pay less than £2 already, you don’t need to worry – it’ll stay the same.
As part of the Government’s ‘Help for Households’ program, they’ve funded a Bus Fare Cap Grant scheme that will be introduced on most single journeys across the country from 1 January 2023 until 31 March 2023.
