There’s a hidden retro games bar on Beverley Road that you’ve probably never heard of – and it might just be one of the coolest spots in Hull.
Ping Pong Club is a proper underground hangout packed with retro games, arcade machines, and all kinds of fun – from table tennis and beer pong to air hockey, darts, and even a dedicated Fortnite room. It’s decked out with creative artwork, neon lighting, and nostalgic touches that make the whole place feel like a grown-up playground (though kids are welcome too!).
It all started back in 2020, when owner Luke opened with just a few ping pong tables and beer pong setups. Since then, it’s grown into a huge space filled with classic arcade games, vintage consoles from every generation, and immersive games that cover everything from racing sims to light gun shooters.
There’s a bar on site serving cocktails, beers, soft drinks and snacks – and with table service, you don’t even need to pause your game to order. It’s ideal for a relaxed night out with mates, or a fun and different family visit.
Entry is just £10 per person for unlimited play, and only £5 for kids on Family Fridays. They also host private events and kids’ parties with full access to all the games for two and a half hours – a brilliant option if you want to plan something memorable.
You’ll find Ping Pong Club at 129-131 Beverley Rd, Hull HU3 1TS (Map)
It’s open every Friday and Saturday from 7am – 11pm
