A brilliant family day out awaits at Pink Pig Farm, just outside Scunthorpe and under an hour’s drive from Hull. Perfect for little ones to burn off energy and enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor fun, it’s a proper favourite for us.
We kicked off at the giant outdoor adventure zone, where pedal tractors, go-karts, climbing frames and a massive sand-and-water play area kept the kids occupied for ages. They loved pumping water into moats and constructing sand castles with friends.
Next up were the bouncy pillows—absolute chaos in the best way—and the zip line. With two side by side, there was an impromptu race off the end, cheers all round.
As it is a farm, the paddocks were a must. We spent ages with the alpacas (their hot favourites), greeting goats, sheep and more in the animal trail.
If you visit during school holidays, you’ll catch the daily foam parties at the end of the day – wild, joyful, and a fantastic way to round things off.
Inside, there’s plenty to keep everyone happy if it’s wet. The Imagination Area was a hit too: dressing up, role‑play shops, tractors and pretend lanes snaked throughout.
The soft play barn deserved a mention—scrambling rolls, big wiggly slides and a separate toddler zone so the little ones could play safely. Plenty of tables are dotted around for parents to grab a break while children run free.
Between all the activity, there’s a good balance of fresh air, laughs and moments of calm – and as we left the farm, it was clear we’ll be making a return visit.
