Tucked away near Asda on Beverley Road, The Ping Pong Club is one of Hull’s most fun and unique nights out – and most people don’t even know it’s there.
What started during lockdown as a couple of ping pong tables and beer pong has grown into a huge underground games bar packed with retro arcade machines, console games, racing sims, pool, air hockey, darts, and loads more. There’s even a Fortnite room, golf pong, and themed party setups for kids.
It’s a proper throwback with glowing neon vibes, street art on the walls, and chilled-out music in the background – perfect whether you’re heading for a relaxed night with mates, a first date, or a family night out.
Entry is just £10 for unlimited play all evening, or £5 for kids on Family Fridays. Booking is essential and there’s a £5 deposit per person when you book, with the rest paid on arrival.
There’s a full bar serving a variety of beers, wines, ciders and spirits, plus a signature cocktail menu with something for everyone. Snacks and pizzas are available too, and table service means you don’t even need to stop playing.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
They also offer private hire and brilliant kids parties with unlimited free play included – a guaranteed hit for birthdays.
A hidden gem that deserves to be on everyone’s radar.
