The grass will certainly be greener in Hull city centre later this week as a 9 hole crazy golf course is set to arrive at Princes Quay Shopping Centre.
The driving force behind the new leisure activity, which will be located on Quayside level 1, is local businessman Martin Holland. Opening this Saturday (10th October), it will be Martin’s latest venture following a successful installation in a Hull park earlier in the year.
The new leisure activity ‘Crazy Golf’ will include a 9 hole putting green within the unit opposite Sally’s and is a welcome addition to the PQ family.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a covid safe game of golf at a very reasonable price, with charges of just £3 for adults and £2 for children. Crazy Golf will open its doors a week this Saturday and will be open daily 10am-8pm.
Centre Manager John Magee commented: “We’ve been talking to potential tenants over the last few months and It’s really exciting that we are now in a position to welcome a new leisure attraction to Princes Quay.
“Customers will be able to enjoy playing golf inside one of our largest units on the ground floor of the centre.
“Securing this short-term lease of six months will add to the activities available for families and customers seeking a different experience when they visit the centre.”

Martin Holland added: “We know the golfing experience is highly sought after in the city. Our summer installation in East Park was a huge success and we’re thrilled to be opening a new complex within Princes Quay. Crazy Golf will be an affordable fun activity for all to enjoy and we can’t wait to welcome visitors to the new course.
The doors will open just in time for half term and there will be a socially distanced seating area with refreshment facilities available, providing hot and cold beverages and sweet treats.
Booking is not required, however, customers are reminded that social distancing and safety measures are in place and include a requirement of wearing face masks when entering the Crazy Golf complex.
