We had the chance to visit Pizza Night, a takeaway specialising in all your favourite takeaway staples, as well as a few unique dishes! From the moment we stepped in, it was clear this wasn’t an average takeaway spot. The ambience, the aroma, and most importantly, the energy of the staff all contributed to a fantastic experience.
The team at Pizza Night are passionate food lovers – We could feel their enthusiasm for what they served us, and their willingness to accommodate and collaborate with us was commendable! It’s rare to find a team so eager to share their passion with the world.
We were spoiled for choice with their vast menu, but the selections they prepared for us stood out. First on the table was a tray of their loaded cheesy fries – a delightful fusion of baked beans, onion, peppers, and a generous topping of cheese. I was unsure about the beans in there at first, but a few forkfuls confirmed that it was a great mix.
Next was the Pizza Night Family Special Kebab. This dish boasted an assortment of chicken kebab, donner meat, a chicken kofta, and a lamb kofta, and was perfectly complemented with pitta, fries, salad, and a tangy sauce. It was a great mix of textures and spices, a far cry from your usual boring kebab. But for the days that’s all you fancy, we enjoyed their classic kebab too!
But their pièce de résistance had to be the Wellington Burger. This unique dish features two beef burgers, mozzarella cheese, and your choice of sauce, all wrapped up snugly in pizza dough and crowned with more cheese. The one they put together for us substituted one of the burgers for doner meat, and it was fantastic.
To conclude, our experience at Pizza Night was brilliant. The food was delicious and showcased innovation beyond just same-old takeaway staples (still thinking about that Wellington Burger), but they do the basics great too and it’s clear the team has a deep love for making good food. The staff’s warm and welcoming nature made us feel right at home, and it’s a new permanent addition to our list of go-to takeaways for sure.
