We recently returned to Kicks Bar & Grill on the corner of Paragon Street to have a look at their refreshed menu!
Since opening, Kicks has been hugely successful, in no small part due to their crazy and unique events. Their now-famous Bottomless Crisp Party even had the bar mentioned on the BBC, ITV’s This Morning, and Have I Got News For You, as well as countless radio stations and blogs worldwide!

There’s another secret to their success though – their amazing American-inspired menu. Recently refreshed with a few new novel options, we had to give it a try.
The first thing we dug into was a tray of Kicks’ Rockin Nachos, drenched in 3 cheeses, lettuce, jalapenos, guacamole, and sour cream. Along with those, we had 2 servings of delicious wings: one serving coated in Louisiana Hot Sauce, and another coated in one of the best BBQ sauces we’ve ever tasted. The wings were cooked to perfection, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, and the sauce was perfectly sticky and evenly coated.
We also tried a plate of boneless fried chicken tenders, tossed in classic hot buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dip. Each tender was succulent and well-seasoned with a little bite, and the accompanying dip offered a well-balanced tanginess that complemented the spice of the buffalo sauce – they were the most flavourful thing we tried for sure.
However, the real showstopper of the evening was the Cheesus Burger. Three prime beef patties drowning in a beer-infused cheese sauce, it’s an absolute monster, as delicious as it was messy!

Accompanying Kicks’ top-notch food is a massive selection of cocktails, from staple classics to their very own concoctions, themed after our local teams, favourite sports, and more. We were treated to a Robins Refuel, a Roaring Tiger, and a Love Set.
Each cocktail was thoughtfully crafted, exhibiting both traditional mixology skills and a creative twist that aligned with the establishment’s overarching theme. They all went down a treat after the massive spread.
Kicks has been one of our favourites since it opened, and it’s great to see it still going strong, both in terms of success and quality. It’s managed to maintain its quality and appeal, even as it evolves, and the new menu blew us out of the water. We can’t wait to go back!
Give it a try, and let us know what you think!
