Tucked away down Dalsetter Rise in Sutton, is the creation of local resident Andy, who lives just a short walk away and had long hoped to bring a high-quality café to the area.
When the building became available, he and his business partner Adrian carried out a full renovation, stripping it back to bare brick and installing new plumbing, electrics, a kitchen, and bathrooms to completely refresh the space.
The result – Springs Cafe – now fully open and run by a small local team, all trained as baristas, with a focus on using nearby suppliers to keep ingredients fresh and local. There’s a clear attention to detail throughout, and the team has even added a festive touch with two Christmas elves who appear in different spots each day in the run-up to Christmas.
They serve a full breakfast and lunch menu, along with a range of seasonal specials. The Christmas Club Sandwich has quickly stood out, packed with turkey, stuffing, bacon, cranberry sauce, and more. Other dishes on the menu include the Spring’s Full English Breakfast and the Frosty Pancake Stack, paired with drinks such as a smooth Vanilla Milkshake, a Peppermint Swirl Mocha with a mint twist, and a Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate.
For anyone in East Hull looking for fresh food, great coffee, and a welcoming local spot, Springs Café is well worth a visit.
