There’s a lovely spot down by the docks that always makes summer in Hull feel a bit more exciting – and we’re really glad to see it back.
Tipi Summer has returned for 2025, bringing its signature blend of relaxed vibes, live music and open-air drinks to the dockside next to Princes Quay. With seating inside and out, firepits to keep things cosy as the sun goes down, and a full bar serving everything from cocktails to coffees, it’s the kind of place that’s easy to lose track of time in.
It’s great for after-work drinks or weekend meetups, and it’s totally family-friendly and dog-friendly too. There are slushies and milkshakes for the kids, dog treats for your four-legged mates, and plenty of choice for the grown-ups – including pints, prosecco, 0% beers and more. There’s even a double happy hour from Tuesday to Friday, 4pm–6pm, with 10% off drinks.
Food-wise, they’ve teamed up with Slice and Social this year to serve up proper pizzas by the quarter, half or whole. Just scan the QR code on the menu, message your order, and they’ll bring it over to your table once it’s ready.
Live music brings a nice buzz every Friday evening and Sunday daytime, and with the view over the water, it’s just a really easy place to enjoy the season. No booking’s needed and entry is completely free – just turn up and enjoy.
Tipi Summer is open daily all summer long – until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
