There’s another week of fantastic events in Hull; from live music to stand-up comedy and theatre, there’s always something to do! Kicking things off this week is a visit from top comedian John Bishop who is performing three nights at the Bonus Arena. Over at Hull City Hall, A Country Night in Nashville are setting the vibe of a buzzing Honky Tonk evening, playing some of country’s biggest hits.
There’s plenty of live stand-up to witness at both Comedy Lounge and LOL Comedy Club at Hull City Hall’s Mortimer Suite. If you’re ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ for 80s music, then look no further than Calling Planet Earth who will be performing some of the songs that defined the electric decade. A Country Night In Nashville recreates the scene of a buzzing Honky Tonk evening in downtown Nashville, perfectly capturing the energy and atmosphere of an evening in the home of country music. Prepare to be transported on a musical journey through the history of Country, featuring songs from its biggest stars both past and present. Hits from Johnny Cash to Alan Jackson, Dolly to the Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson to Kacey Musgraves, are showcased by the amazing Dominic Halpin and the Hurricanes.

Eugene Ripper one of Canada’s finest exports stopping of on his UK tour to hang out with Black Kes. Great song writing and a firm favourite with us all the Kes lads. A great bloke and a fine story teller.
