There’s another amazing week of events here in Hull. You’re sure to have a fun filled week with everything from music to movies. With some amazing events including live music from the wonderful Michael Bolton at Bonus Arena, and a spectacular night of dance from the Dreamboys. We also can’t forget about the weekly Sesh and Trinity live showcasing the finest local talent.
But when is it ever only music that we have for you folks? We’ve also got something spooky and something nice. From the showing of Hocus Pocus for our Halloween lovers, to the Pottervision showing for our Potterheads out there. We’ve even got a Michael Jackson tribute moonwalking into town. Michael will be performing all the hits such ‘How Am I Supposed to Live Without You’, ‘How Can we Be Lovers’, ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’ and ‘Time, Love And Tenderness’.
To date, Michael has seen nine studio albums rank in the Top 10, with nine #1 singles. His most recent album Symphony Of Hits, celebrates 50 years in the entertainment industry. The collection of greatest hits newly recorded with complete symphony orchestra was recorded at All Saints College Performing Arts Centre in Perth, Australia.
Known for his soulful voice and timeless charm, Michael has also showcased his incredible humor in the viral Saturday Night Live video “Jack Sparrow” and the Netflix comedy “Michael Bolton’s Big Sexy Valentine’s Day Special”, as well as in cameos on Two and a half Men, Fresh off the Boat, Glee and hit series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

The weekly live music event, which last year brought thousands of extra people into the market on an evening as well as giving a platform to many local bands and performers returns. As well as the live music, various different market traders support the event by serving up their diverse selection of food and drink. This week’s line-up is Infidels, Cubadrive, Phoebe Fleming.

Pottervision

Four performers are all set to recreate Harry Potter and The Philospher’s Stone but, when two of them drop out on the day (and take all the props and costumes with them), Tom and Lukas must go it alone and make do with the limited resources they have.
With DIY props, charity shop costumes and both performers having to play multiple characters, Pottervision is a wig-changing, wizard-impersonating, audience-immersing Ford Anglia ride through all the ridiculousness of that first magical movie. What could possibly go wrong? There’s only one way to find out!
Michael Jackson Tribute

A jaw-dropping Tribute to Michael Jackson celebrating his life and music, starring CJ, one of the most dedicated and well-respected Michael Jackson Tribute artists in the world. In this show, he brings to life the greatest entertainer of all time by capturing the electrifying energy of Michael’s live performances which amazed the world for decades.
Hull Fair 2021
Friday 8 October, until Saturday 16 October – excluding Sunday 10 October @ Walton Street.
Europe’s oldest and largest fair returns to Hull after being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With over 250 rides, attractions and fair games, there’s no wonder why Hull Fair is one of the city’s biggest and most popular traditions. Hull Fair is perfect for all ages, with sky-scraping rides fit for any adrenaline junkie, as well as some gentler rides for younger patrons.
Some new rides will make their way to the fair this year including KMG Extreme and Snow Jet, as well as some old favourites such as Waltzers and the Sky Swing. One of the most exciting additions this year is the Star Flyer which is one of the tallest rides in the country, measuring in at 55m high – the tallest ride to ever come to Hull Fair.
