There’s a huge week of events ahead of us, with everything from comedy to music! Christmas comes early with Elf The Musical at Hull New Theatre this week, whilst Hull Truck Theatre are heating things up with Sunny Side Up. Following up with live shows from the hilarious Chris Ramsey and beloved music from Tim Minchin.
We’ve also got amazing events from our local regulars with live music at O’Rileys, Dive and Polar Bear, as well as a special club night at The Welly! Check ’em out…

Elf The Musical
2 – 6 November @ Hull New Theatre
Based on the hit movie starring Will Farrell, this spectacular heart-warming story follows the fortunes of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth.

6 November @ Hull New TheatreÂ
Critically acclaimed comedian Chris Ramsey returns to Hull as part of his biggest stand-up tour yet. Having filled venues across the country including The Newcastle Metro Arena (twice) don’t miss your chance to catch him live on stage while you can.

Sunny Side Up! is the hilarious and moving account of a struggling Yorkshire coast B&B and the people who run it. Join proprietors Barney, Cath and Tina as they share their stories of awkward clients, snooty relatives and eggs over easy in this seaside rollercoaster which digs into what our staycations are all about.
Bullet For My Valentine

Since Bullet For My Valentine formed in 1998, the Welsh metallers have become one of the biggest bands in metal, selling over 3 million albums worldwide and scoring three gold albums, as well as defining British metalcore with their now classic debut, The Poison. Brand new album, the self-titled Bullet For My Valentine follows the success of their last album, 2018’s Gravity, which saw the metal juggernauts play their biggest shows to date.
Tim Minchin

Since his return to stage Tim starred in the ABC comedy series Squinters and appeared as Friar Tuck in the Hollywood release of Robin Hood. He also starred in UPRIGHT, the award winning eight-part drama series which he co-wrote with The Chaser’s Chris Taylor, actor-writers Leon Ford and Kate Mulvaney, and co-produced with Lingo Pictures for Foxtel and Sky UK.

Amongst her many achievements Lorraine can also be credited for her amazing vocals on the hit No 1 album Bat Out Of Hell II – Back Into Hell. Lorraine is well known for her live performances where many superstars, including Bonnie Tyler, have joined her on stage.
