Hull’s city centre has just welcomed a brilliant new spot that’s quickly becoming the talk of the town – Quayside Bar, nestled alongside the scenic Princes Dock and taking over the space once occupied by Leonardo’s.
At the helm is the wonderful Laura, who’s infused every aspect of Quayside Bar with a passion for local culture. It’s evident from the Hull-based artists’ work adorning the walls (yes, they’re for sale!) to the mouthwatering dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, that celebrating the local is at the heart of everything Quayside Bar stands for.
We indulged in a diverse menu that boasted everything from a Steak Pattie burger, bursting with flavour from a secret family recipe, to a succulent Buttermilk Chicken burger, a comforting Homemade Lasagna, delightfully crispy chicken nuggets for the kids, and the newest additions to the menu – Fish & Chips and Chicken Skewers. The generous portions and the freshness of the food were the highlights, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied.
Quayside Bar captures the essence of a traditional pub menu but elevates it with variety, value, and some fantastic mid-week lunch deals that are too good to pass up.
As day turns into night, the bar transitions into the perfect evening retreat. With an extensive selection of drinks, including an array of cocktails, it’s the ideal place to relax and unwind after a long day.
Quayside Bar is a stellar addition to Hull’s vibrant local scene. Its commitment to local ingredients, support of local artists, and welcoming atmosphere make it a place we’ll definitely be visiting again! We’re already looking forward to our next meal here and exploring more of what they have to offer.
