Located in Hull city centre, Asi Cafe is a stylish independent spot that’s making waves with its mix of classic cafe favourites and Mediterranean flavours – and the best part? Everything is under £9!
Although it’s only been open for less than a year, Asi Cafe has quickly become a favourite, offering a menu packed with toasties, sandwiches, omelettes, and jacket potatoes, alongside some delightful Mediterranean options.

We couldn’t resist trying the Jacket Potato with Chicken Tikka, which had a mild, beautifully blended spicy kick. Another standout was the Brie, Bacon & Cranberry Panini – perfectly melted brie, smoky bacon, and just the right amount of sweetness from the cranberry sauce. Both were absolutely delicious.
If you’re after something a bit more vibrant, the Mediterranean Breakfast is a must-try. Featuring olives, feta, crisp vegetables, and ‘Sucuk’ (a type of Turkish sausage), it’s fresh and full of flavour. For something comforting, the Ham & Cheese Omelette is cheesy, fluffy, and wonderfully filling.
Lighter bites like the Greek Salad are great if you want something refreshing, and the Cheese & Tomato Toastie is simple but satisfying.

Of course, we had to finish off with something sweet, and the Sticky Chocolate & Orange Cake did not disappoint. Massive, rich, and indulgent – plus, since it’s orange, we’ll count it as one of our five-a-day!
For drinks, you’ve got the usual coffee and tea options, along with smoothies and milkshakes, but the real star is their Turkish Coffee. Brewed unfiltered, it’s rich, intense, and slightly thick – perfect for strong coffee lovers.
With its quick service, bright atmosphere, and unbeatable value, Asi Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, lunch, or just a slice of cake, this place has something for everyone. Check out their Instagram here!
