We recently had the chance to enjoy the new Live Lounge at Connexin Live, attending a Paul Smith stand-up show during his UK tour. The premium experience offers an extra layer of comfort and luxury, which really made our night special.

From the start, we had VIP access, skipping the long queues and heading straight into the stylish Live Lounge bar. The bar has a modern vibe with neon lights, cosy seating options for small groups or larger booths for those attending with friends. There was even a DJ playing upbeat tunes, adding a lively touch before the show kicked off.
The premium seating was brilliant—high-backed with plenty of padding, extra space, and cup holders, making the two-hour show much more enjoyable. Some shows even offer drinks service directly to your seat, which adds to the convenience.
The food was a treat, with a light yet satisfying menu of tortillas with salsa, followed by chicken wings, slider burgers, and chunky chips. Drinks-wise, I had an alcohol-free cider, while Ian and Louise tried the Mango Bellini and the Monster Cocktail mixed with rum, and both thought the drinks were excellent.
Our package was £120 per person and included early entry, access to the Live Lounge, a meal, and premium seats on Level 1. While drinks weren’t included, the experience was well worth it. There’s also a Balcony option for £175, which brings you closer to the stage but without the padded seating. For us, the comfort of the premium seats was a better choice.
It’s worth noting that for other shows, the premium experience can be more affordable. For instance, the upcoming Riverdance show offers Level 1 seats for £100 and Balcony seats for £130, so it’s always a good idea to check out the different options for each event. You can even access the Live Lounge starting from £25 per person, which includes snacks but not the full meal, or starting from £34, you get the pre-show meal and faster entrance.
Overall, we’d definitely recommend the Live Lounge as a treat, especially for must-see artists or shows. The extra comfort and exclusive touches made it a night to remember.
