Join us for evening at Humber Street Gallery hosted by Critical Fish to reflect and unpick themes present in BOOTLEG SHREG & FRIENDS, our current exhibition.
The sessions focus on looking, exploring, sharing, questioning and writing, and aim to respond to both exhibition spaces in a communal way through conversation and activities.
In April’s session, they attempted to link the different spaces using phone messages, texting about the work between floors.
“Not only is it a conversation between people in the gallery spaces, but a conversation between the work on display.”
The Critical Fish is an artist led project which promotes critical but accessible writing about art and visual culture. They support creativity and culture in Hull and the region, but are also outward facing and invite contributions and ideas from further afield, interested in critical, creative, collaborative and experimental writing.
