Anna-Louise Pickering
Here be Dragons
In this Indonesian expedition Anna-Louise travelled, alongside her mother Pollyanna, by river boat, deep into the rainforests into southern Borneo, to visit forest rehabilitation centres where many orang-utans, rescued and released back into the wild, visit feeding platforms. Then on to Komodo, home to the legendary Komodo dragons, where they trekked in the National Park, coming face to face with the world’s largest and most dangerous lizards in their natural habitat – armed only with a stick.
