Humble Bee Farm (Flixton, Scarborough YO11 3UJ) is open to the public for its annual lambing experience!
Sundays: 11am till 12:30pm OR 1:00pm till 2:30pm
Wednesdays: 11:00am till 12:20pm. The Wednesday dates are ideal for SEN children as it will be a quieter experience.
Tickets are essential, pre-booking only, and there are limited tickets available. Ticket price – £8 per person, under 2s are FREE. Ticket includes:
A 90-minute session in the lambing barn, allowing plenty of time to make the most of this event! Meet & feed a lamb, see Farmer Percy who’ll give a short talk about his flock, and count the lambs with Farmer Percy.
A Question & Answer session will be held with the lambing team, you can capture memories in the photo booth, meet the other baby animals in the barn including rabbits and guinea pigs, and say hello to the sheepdogs, Alfie & Madge. Follow the Sheep Trail around the farm to find a secret word, and get to know the Farmyard Gang including Tilly the Shetland Pony, the donkeys, alpacas, goats, hens and ducks.
The Hive Café/Bar will be open serving warm drinks and lite bites! Entry to their competition to win a glamping stay at Humble Bee Farm is also included.
Access to their sports field is available during your visit, and there is free parking.
The event is pram friendly. Sorry, no dogs. Please note: pregnant women are not advised to enter the lambing area. There is a short walk from the car park to the Lambing Barn, with disabled car parking available closer.
