Hull Comedy Festival is back this November, bringing three weeks of belly laughs from some of the UK’s biggest names alongside brilliant local talent.
Hull Comedy Festival has been running since 2006, and it just keeps getting better – the festival has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated events, filling the city with stand-up, sketch shows, family performances and fringe events where anything can happen.
Hull will be rammed with comedy across venues big and small, from Hull Truck Theatre and Hull Minster to cosy city centre bars and pop-up spaces. With more than 7,500 people expected to attend, it’s set to be one of the liveliest celebrations of comedy anywhere in the region!
Headliners include the brilliantly sharp Suzi Ruffell with her brand-new show The Juggle, and the unpredictable Phil Nichol with Trying My Best. Josh Jones will bring his upbeat northern charm too, while Tony Law’s surreal fringe set promises something completely different.
It’s not just for grown-ups either – Family shows like Jeddy Bear & Gary’s Pie Wars mean there’s plenty for younger audiences too!
There’s a special opening night at Hull Minster, the perfect way to get involved if you haven’t yet, featuring a mix of stand-up, comedy magic, and variety acts, all in support of Age UK HEY.
