Bonfire Night fireworks displays across Hull & East Yorkshire this year

As the nights draw in and the air turns crisp, there’s a certain magic in the atmosphere that can mean only one thing – Bonfire Night is nearly upon us! And Hull & East Yorkshire are gearing up for some serious pyrotechnic action. From family-friendly low-bang affairs, to extravagant displays that’ll leave your eyes wide and your jaws on the floor, there’s something for everyone this year.

Whether you’re in the mood for a traditional bonfire, a near-silent display, or even a musical fireworks extravaganza, we’ve got the lowdown on all the must-see events in the area. So grab your woolly scarves and a cup of mulled wine, and read on!

October:

Saturday 28th

Musical Fireworks Spectacular
Sledmere House, Driffield, 4pm – 9pm

For its eighth year, Sledmere House’s Musical Fireworks Spectacular is going all out with a 2023 theme dedicated to Musicals. Expect show-stopping tunes paired with sky-high pyrotechnics above Sledmere’s scenic grounds. The Coach House Café will serve up bonfire treats, and a range of funfair rides and attractions kick off the evening before the 7:30pm fireworks display. Tickets go for £12.50 Adult, £7.00 Child, & £37.00 Family (2 adults & 2 children), and can be found here.

November:

Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd

Low Bang Firework Display
Pink Pig Farm, Holme, Entry 4:30pm, Fireworks 6:30pm
Pink Pig Farm will be hosting a display with fireworks that sizzle and gently pop, with no loud bangs, all set to music. Bonfire food & drinks will be available from inside the playbarn and outside near the firework field. There will be plenty of time to play inside or outside with fireworks starting at 6.30pm. Tickets are required for all ages, and start at £8.00 per person. Advance booking is required, and tickets can be found here.

Friday 3rd

Raywell Family Bonfire Night
Raywell Scout Activity Centre, 6:00pm to 9:30pm

Raywell Scout Activity Centre is setting the night ablaze with a cozy bonfire, sparklers, and marshmallow toasting. Sip on mulled wine and even join in some campfire songs! Book your tickets in advance to enjoy most of these perks included in the price. Additional food and drinks are available for purchase (card only), and all under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £6.50 per person, and are available here.

Nafferton’s Spooktacular Fireworks
Nafferton Recreation Club, entry 5pm, fireworks 6.45pm

Nafferton Recreation Club is bringing back its hit musical fireworks event at Eastlands. Enjoy a bang-free display, funfair attractions, and tasty food options for a fantastic family night out. Ages 4 and under go free, with general admission £5 – prebook tickets here.

Saturday 4th

Hornsea Firework Display – (Hornsea Carnival)
Hall Garth Park Hornsea, Open from 3pm, Fireworks 8pm
Head to Hall Garth Park in Hornsea for a near-silent, yet visually stunning, fireworks show. The event features hot food, traders, funfair rides, and live music – all supporting Hornsea Carnival. Multiple parking options are within a 10-minute walk, including free spots on Morrow Avenue and Hornsea Burton Road. The show is free thanks to local donors like Hornsea Lions; just consider dropping a donation to support the area’s largest free carnival.

Craven Park Fireworks Night
Sewell Group Craven Park Stadium Hull, Gates open at 4pm

Sewell Group Craven Park and Viking FM are teaming up again to host East Yorkshire’s biggest fireworks show in Hull. This year promises to be even bigger, with a music-timed fireworks show, and live music with LED drummers and guest DJs. Plus, enjoy a funfair and on-stage antics from Breakfast hosts Alex and Nicola. Tickets go for £6 for children and £8 for adults, and must be bought in advance here.

Springhead Park Firework Display
Springhead Golf Club Willerby Road, open from 4pm for food, fireworks at 7pm
The golf club on Willerby Road promises a family-friendly fireworks night in the park. Food options range from hot dogs and pizza for the kids to pies and peas for adults, available from 4pm to 6pm. The sky lights up with the fireworks show starting at 7pm. £5.00 per ticket, available from the clubhouse, and includes food.

Hull Wyke Round Table Firework & Bonfire Display
Humberdale Farm, Swanland, gates open 5pm

Swanland’s Bonfire & Fireworks at Humberdale Farm is back and better than ever, courtesy of Hull Wyke Round Table. Starting at 5pm, you can pay at the gate or snag early bird discounts on advance tickets here. Get ready for an array of food, drinks, and kids’ rides. Just remember, it’s cash-only for entry and stalls. Tickets are £8.00 per person on the night or £15.00 per car, with under 12s free.

Kilham Bonfire & Firework Display
Kilham Playing Field Driffield, Gates open 5:30pm, bonfire lit 6:30pm, fireworks 7:00pm
KPFA’s annual bonfire and fireworks at Back Lane playing fields opens at 5pm, the bonfire lights up at 6:30pm, and fireworks start at 7pm. Enjoy hot food from KPFA and Rose Cottage Butchers, drinks from KPFA and The Coffee Trailer, a bar featuring mulled wine from The Old Star, and a light-ups stall by Brian’s Balloons. Prices are £4.50 Adult, £3.50 child, and under 2’s free, but tickets are £1 cheaper if bought in advance here.

Sunday 5th

Driffield Firework Spectacular
Driffield showground, Gates open 3:30pm, main display 6:10pm

Driffield Showground is hosting a jaw-dropping fireworks display featuring Europe and China’s finest pyrotechnics, courtesy of national-competition grade firm The Fireworkers Ltd. Though there’s no bonfire due to venue restrictions, expect big shell effects, vibrant colours, and tons of wow factor. Great Driffield Radio amps up the entertainment, both for those in cars and on foot, alongside performances by singer James Lomas and Beverley & District Pipe Band, and a funfair and food village. Tickets must be picked up in advance here, and go from £5.00, with under 5s free.

Brantingham Parks Fireworx Extravaganza
Brantingham Parks, Gates open 3:30pm, main display 7:00pm

The annual fireworks spectacular is back at Brantingham’s sports ground! The family-friendly event features stalls, food vendors, and kiddie rides, as well as an indoor children’s disco which kicks off at 4pm, leading up to the night’s sky-lit finale. Stay cozy with indoor spaces and covered grandstand seating while watching! Tickets must be prebooked here, and go for £9.00 for adults, £4.00 for children & £25.00 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children).

Hull Vineyard Bonfire Night

Kilnwick Percy Resort Fireworks Spectacular
Kilnwick Percy Resort, Pocklington, gates 4:30pm, fireworks 7:30pm

Kilnwick Percy Resort’s annual fireworks show returns to Millington Lane, Pocklington. Live music from Kaya sets the stage for a lively evening, with entertainment running from 5:30pm to 7:15pm.

Hessle RUFC Firework Display

Bridlington Rugby Club Fireworks Display
Bridlington, gates open 5:30pm, fireworks 7:00pm – 7:30pm
Bridlington Rugby Club’s annual Fireworks display will be held on Sunday 5th November. More details will be added to their page here nearer the date of the event.

Ship Inn Sewerby – Charity Fireworks & Bonfire
Bridlington, gates open 5:30pm, fireworks between 7/7:30pm

The annual charity event will return this year, in aid of Bridlington CYP Youth Project. Entertainment and food stalls will be available. Tickets go for £5.00 Adults, £3.00 under 16s, and under 2 free.

Potting Shed Beverley Firework Display
The Potting Shed, Beverley, first display 6pm, second at 8pm
Beverley’s Potting Shed will be hosting 2 displays this year, along with a cake Stall, hot hood, hot drinks and more. Advanced bookings only, with tickets available here.
