Santa will return to Hull with a festive parade & grotto at Princes Quay

Get ready, Hull – the most magical time of the year is just around the corner! The city’s Christmas celebrations begin with the Santa Arrival Parade on Sunday 23 November 2025, setting off from Hull New Theatre at 11:15am.

Families are invited to line the streets and join in the festive fun as Santa and his merry helpers travel around the city on a magical float provided by Resolve Asset Management Ltd, with support from Great Yorkshire Radio, Saltmer Mechanical Services Ltd, and Hull BID.

The parade marks Santa’s grand arrival before he officially declares his grotto open at Princes Quay.

Once the parade is over, families can step into the winter wonderland of Princes Quay’s Santa Grotto, now open and brimming with festive cheer – and a cheeky elf or two!

Children can enjoy a magical journey through the enchanted elves’ village before meeting Santa himself. There’s time for a photo, a chat about Christmas wishes, and plenty of sparkle to make memories that will last all season long.

Bookings are now open – visit bookfatherchristmas.co.uk/princesquay to secure your spot.
